THE 2006 FESTIVAL TRAVELED TO ROME, ITALY ON JANUARY 26-28, 2007

3 days/21 films/1000 laughs

Produced in cooperation with the English Theatre of Rome and the support of the commune di Roma, three days of screenings for an international audience proved to us that comedy does indeed travel when the comedy has both smarts and heart.

The venue, Il Teatro L'Arciluito on the Piazza di Montevecchio, is an ancient building with a noble artistic history.  The walls of the theatre are 2000 years old.  The space was used by Raphael as a workshop.  In such a place, we showed our works humbly, and it was enthusiasically received.

The broads who came to participate in the event - Michelle Maher, Donna Wheeler and Lorraine Fontanes - got together to talk about the experience, muse on the festival's impact in their lives, and yes, shoot some footage.  Donna Wheeler wanted to make a mini-thriller.  She pulled in a local actess, drafted Maher to be her heroine, and filmed it with her digital pocket camera.
